Students work in pairs (Scientists and Researchers)as a team of four to research the nutitional value of Chocolate Chip Cookies. They work with an issue report, the science process, and fat to mass ratio.
This interactive game has students apply skills in estimation, measurement, and basic addition using pearls. Students are asked to estimate the number of pearls in a treasure chest by making predictions and using number sense. The skills are appropriate for students in grades th3-5. Additional feaatures include links to related history, lesson plans, and articles on pearls.
